On September 15, the first overseas business training program jointly organized by Chang’an University and China Construction Eighth Engineering Division Corp., Ltd. (CCEED) Northwest Company officially commenced. This training program is a significant initiative in response to China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and deepening international production capacity cooperation. It aims to cultivate a group of international talents proficient in policies, languages, professional skills, and management, providing solid support for Chinese enterprises expanding overseas.

As a council member of the China-Central Asia Talent Training Alliance in the Field of Transportation Infrastructure, CCEED Northwest Company has designed this training program to focus on the Central Asian market. Key topics include policy interpretation, cross-cultural management, Russian language training, and overseas project management, all aimed at enhancing the company’s international operational capabilities. Zhang Luping, Deputy Party Secretary of the company, emphasized during the opening ceremony that this training not only meets the company’s development needs but also aligns with China’s broader strategy of opening up and advancing high-quality BRI cooperation.

Since its establishment in 2023, the China-Central Asia Talent Training Alliance in the Field of Transportation Infrastructure has become a crucial platform for promoting cooperation between China and Central Asian countries in transportation infrastructure. Through industry-academia joint training programs and tailored talent development initiatives, the Alliance supports Chinese enterprises in achieving both hard connectivity (infrastructure development) and soft connectivity (policy and cultural alignment) in Central Asian markets. Additionally, it fosters people-to-people bonds by cultivating international talents, providing intellectual support and human resources for BRI projects.

Looking ahead, the Alliance will continue to serve as a bridge, integrating high-quality domestic and international resources to offer comprehensive support for Chinese enterprises going global. It will promote Chinese standards, technologies, and solutions worldwide, contributing Chinese wisdom and strength to building a community with a shared future for mankind.
