In his opening speech, Xu Mingfei, Vice Governor of Shaanxi Provincial People’s Government, emphasized, Tourism is never simply about moving from one place to another; it is about dialogue between civilizations, resonance among people, and shared development. He highlighted that the Silk Road stands as a historical witness to the friendly exchanges among Asian countries, and now is the right time to jointly promote tourism cooperation in the CICA region.

International students from multiple countries expressed that attending this high-level international conference broadened their understanding of regional tourism cooperation and sustainable development.

LiZhen from Tajikistan shared, The discussions among the guests on the integration of culture and tourism technology, as well as talent development, clarified the direction of my academic studies and future career opportunities. TeLong from Uzbekistan added, The insights shared by representatives from various countries on the integration of culture and tourism, along with technological innovation, were immensely beneficial. Particularly, hearing about the visa facilitation achievements shared by representatives from Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan made us truly appreciate the tangible benefits that regional cooperation brings to people.

During the conference, in-depth exchanges were conducted on topics such as cultural and tourism integration, inbound tourism development, and talent cultivation. Several key outcomes were released, including the CICA Regional Tourism Cooperation Initiative. Many international students specifically mentioned that this experience not only deepened their understanding of China’s efforts to promote regional collaborative development but also strengthened their sense of responsibility as international students in China to actively participate in cultural exchanges and foster people-to-people connectivity.
