Vice President of Tashkent State Transport University Visits Chang’an University

  On the morning of November 12, a delegation from Tashkent State Transport University, comprising First Vice President Bakhodir Turaev and Head of International Cooperation Melike Basbinar, visited our university. Vice President Fan Wen met with the delegation in the VIP reception room of the Chenhui Hall at the North Campus. Following the meeting, they jointly attended a welcome session for the first cohort of students enrolled in the China-Uzbekistan College of Transportation.



Fan Wen extended a warm welcome to Turaev Bakhodir and his delegation, and spoke highly of the progress made by the China-Uzbekistan College of Transportation in areas such as student enrollment and curriculum development. He emphasized that the successful enrollment of the first cohort of master's students marks a significant step into the substantive phase of talent cultivation between the two universities. Turaev Bakhodir expressed his appreciation for Chang'an University's efficient advancement of the collaboration, assuring that the Uzbek side will actively select high-quality students to support the sustainable development of the college. Both parties also reached a consensus on accelerating the establishment of a Confucius Institute (Center for Language Exchange and Cooperation) building upon the foundation of the China-Uzbekistan College of Transportation.


Following the meeting, accompanied by Zhang Wei, Dean of the International Education College, the delegation engaged in an exchange with the first cohort of master's students from the China-Uzbekistan College of Transportation. They gained a detailed understanding of the implementation of the dual-track teaching model, which combines Chinese language instruction with professional disciplines, and provided positive feedback on the current teaching and management outcomes.
