On the afternoon of January 19, the Secretariat of the China–Central Asia Five Countries Transportation Infrastructure Talent Development Alliance held a symposium and alliance admission ceremony with CCCC First Highway Consultants Co., Ltd. (CCCC FHDI). Centering on serving the Belt and Road Initiative and focusing on advancing the Alliance platform development, both sides discussed new pathways for university-enterprise cooperation. This symposium represents a concrete step to implement the consensus reached during high-level mutual visits and to deepen substantive collaboration.
During the meeting, Zhang Wei, Director of the Alliance Secretariat Office, introduced the progress of the Alliance's work and the development of the "China-Uzbekistan Transportation College." Fu Zhipeng, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Chief Engineer, and Deputy General Manager of CCCC FHDI, shared the company's technological strengths and international experience in areas such as intelligent transportation and green construction. Witnessed by representatives from both sides, CCCC FHDI officially joined the China–Central Asia Five Countries Transportation Infrastructure Talent Development Alliance, marking a new stage of institutionalized and substantive cooperation between the two parties.
Both sides agreed to establish a cooperative framework with talent cultivation as the foundation, scientific research as the support, and platforms as the carrier, deepening collaboration primarily in the following areas: First, innovating the talent training mechanism by jointly building demonstration bases and overseas training bases, and promoting the integrated "Chinese + Vocational Skills" education model. Second, jointly applying for international scientific research projects and focusing on collaborative research in key industry technologies. Third, advancing the preparatory work for a Belt and Road joint laboratory to promote the transformation and application of scientific and technological achievements.
This collaboration marks another significant step by Chang'an University in deepening industry-university-research integration and serving national strategies. As the leading unit of the Alliance, the university will continue to leverage its guiding role, joining hands with enterprises to contribute wisdom and strength to the development of a leading transportation nation and the high-quality advancement of the Belt and Road Initiative.
