On January 23, Azamat Askaruly, Advisor to the Governor of Almaty Prefecture of the Republic of Kazakhstan and President of the Association of Industrial and Logistics Parks, Sagyndykov Eldar, Consul General of the Consulate General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Xi 'an, and Ernur, Assistant Consul General of the Consulate General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Xi 'an, visited the School of International Education of Chang 'an University. Zhang Wei extended a warm welcome to Azamat Askaruly and his delegation, and briefly expounded on the development history, school-running mode, disciplinary advantages, professional characteristics and international school-running situation of our university. It also introduces in detail the international enrollment scale of Chang 'an University, the current situation of Kazakh and Central Asian students, the training and management mode, the development of foreign cooperation and school-enterprise cooperation, and the Sino-Central Asian talents training alliance in the field of transportation infrastructure. He said that in recent years, the cooperation between China and Kazakhstan has continued to deepen and become solid in many fields, especially in the fields of education, science and technology, logistics and connectivity. He pointed out that in the current context, with the establishment of the alliance, the cooperation between Chang 'an University and Kazakh universities is becoming more and more frequent. Chang 'an University's unique international school-running mode, disciplinary and professional advantages, rich overseas school-running experience and the continuous development of the alliance will provide broad prospects and sufficient conditions for further cooperation between the two sides in the future.

Azamat Askaruly highly agreed with Chang 'an University's international education and cooperation plan, and introduced the current development of Kazakhstan in terms of talent demand, transportation engineering and logistics. He pointed out that the cooperation between China and Kazakhstan has a solid foundation and great potential, and the cooperation between the two countries has achieved fruitful results in recent years. He looked forward to carrying out in-depth cooperation with our university in the fields of education, transportation and culture in the future, and expressed his views on the possibility of cooperation in joint education and logistics projects. He said that he welcomes the representatives of Chang 'an University to visit Almaty Prefecture of Kazakhstan in the future and wishes the cooperation and exchanges between the two sides to achieve more remarkable achievements.

At the meeting, the two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on personnel training, scientific research cooperation, people-to-people exchanges and other fields, conducted extensive discussions on joint training and cooperation in transportation and logistics, and reached a number of consensus. Yang Wangtun briefly introduced the recent cooperation between our university and Kazakh universities under the framework of the alliance.

After the meeting, the secretariat of the Alliance held the alliance accession ceremony, and Azamat Askaruly signed the accession agreement on behalf of the Association of Industrial and Logistics Parks of Kazakhstan, becoming an important member of the China-Central Asian Talent Training Alliance in the Field of Transportation Infrastructure.
