On February 2nd, 2026, a delegation led by Tian Yin’an, Secretary of the Transportation and Municipal Engineering Academy of China Railway First Survey and Design Institute Group, visited our college for research and exchange. Zhang Wei, Dean of the College of International Education, Yang Wangtun, Vice Dean, and heads of relevant departments attended the symposium.
Zhang Wei provided a detailed introduction to the overall landscape of international education at Chang’an University, with a particular focus on the achievements of the China–Central Asia Five Nations Talent Cultivation Alliance in Transportation Infrastructure (hereinafter referred to as the Alliance) in promoting educational connectivity, scientific research cooperation, talent cultivation, cultural exchange, and regional development in the transportation sector between China and Central Asia.
Tian Yin’an outlined the overseas and Central Asia regional cooperation networks of the Transportation and Municipal Engineering Academy, as well as its needs for localized talent cultivation. He expressed the hope of joining the Alliance to further explore collaboration opportunities and jointly develop models for cultivating localized international talents in the transportation sector.
During the exchange session, participants engaged in lively discussions on joint scientific research, talent cultivation, and the establishment of internship and practice bases. Both sides agreed that there is significant potential for in-depth cooperation in areas such as localized talent training and promoting regional standard alignment.
This exchange and research activity has established a valuable communication platform between the Transportation and Municipal Engineering Academy of China Railway First Survey and Design Institute Group and the College of International Education of Chang’an University, laying a solid foundation for further collaboration in international education.
