China-Ukraine Transport Faculty Holds Successful Meeting to Advance Undergraduate and Master’s Program Development

  On the afternoon of  May 29th, a progress meeting for the undergraduate and master’s program development of the China-Ukraine Transport Faculty was successfully held at the Multi-Function Hall on the first floor of the School of International Education. Zhang Wei, Dean of the School of International Education and Director of the International Student Affairs Office, presided over the meeting. Relevant unit heads and key faculty members from the Graduate School, School of Automotive Engineering, School of Information Engineering, School of Civil Engineering and Architecture, and School of Architecture attended the session.
  During the meeting, Zhang Wei delivered a comprehensive overview of the overall talent cultivation plan and implementation pathways for international students at the China-Ukraine Transport Faculty, clarifying the strategic positioning and target requirements for the college's development. Xu Wei, Deputy Dean of the Graduate School, provided professional assessments regarding the scientific rigor and operational feasibility of the training programs, offering guidance on the articulation mechanisms for cross-level education. Yang Wangtun, Deputy Dean of the School of International Education, systematically introduced the curriculum framework and subsequent teaching arrangements for the college.
  In the discussion session, representatives from various schools engaged in in-depth dialogue focusing on key issues such as the alignment of cultivation standards, the linkage between undergraduate and master’s curricula, and the allocation of practical teaching resources. These discussions were grounded in their respective disciplinary strengths and existing international cooperation experience, further clarifying the implementation mechanisms for collaborative education and joint training.

  This meeting effectively consolidated consensus among relevant units, charting a clear implementation path for the standardized construction, distinctive development, and substantive operation of the undergraduate and master’s training systems at the China-Ukraine Transport Faculty. It will significantly propel China-Ukraine cooperation in cultivating high-level international talents in the transportation sector to new heights.
