On June 12, the 2026 China–Central Asia Science, Technology and Cultural Exchange Event Coordination Meeting was held at our university. Attendees included Zhang Junhua, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the Provincial Association for Science and Technology; Fan Wen, Vice President of Chang’an University; and heads of relevant departments from both sides. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Wei, Dean of the School of International Education and Director of the Secretariat Office of the China–Central Asia Five Countries Transport Infrastructure Talent Training Alliance.
During the meeting, the Provincial Association for Science and Technology outlined the overall arrangements for the 2026 China–Central Asia science, technology, and cultural exchange series. Chang’an University presented progress on preparations for the supporting event — the China–Central Asia Five Countries Transport Infrastructure Engineering Technology Standards International Forum. Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on guest invitations, program optimization, and risk prevention and control, reaching consensus on refining division of responsibilities and coordinating efforts to ensure smooth implementation.
The meeting further streamlined working coordination mechanisms, laying a solid foundation for organizing the 2026 China–Central Asia Science, Technology and Cultural Exchange Series at a high standard.
