On August 27, the first session of the Scaling New Heights · Overseas Readiness Reserve training program of the China Construction Eighth Engineering Division (CCEED) officially opened. The program was organized under the auspices of the Alliance for Talent Cultivation in Transport Infrastructure of China and the Five Central Asian Countries and hosted by Chang'an University. Zhang Wei, Dean of the School of International Education at Chang'an University, and Liang Wenyi, Deputy General Manager of CCEED's Human Resources Department, attended the opening ceremony and delivered remarks. The ceremony was moderated by Yang Hongyu, Senior Manager of CCEED's Human Resources Department.
Since its establishment, the Alliance has continuously advanced two-way training programs between China and abroad, building a talent platform connecting Chinese enterprises expanding overseas with universities and enterprises in Central Asia. This training program is a key project under the Alliance's two-way training framework and a crucial step in implementing CCEED's 156 Scaling New Heights Plan and improving the full-cycle management of overseas talent. It aims to forge a globally competent workforce in support of the high-quality development of the company's overseas operations.
As the chair institution of the Alliance, Chang'an University has leveraged its strengths in transport infrastructure disciplines and its international cooperation platforms to coordinate the organization of the training. The curriculum centers on practical topics including overseas project management, foreign-related legal affairs, and compliance management.
The Scaling New Heights · Overseas Readiness Reserve training program plans to train more than 1,000 participants, deepening industry-education collaboration and supplying versatile management talent for overseas infrastructure development.
